For many years, List bookshop has been a place for everyone who loves literature: for browsing, discovering, returning and recommending to others. With a full range of German-language literature and a special emphasis on French and Italian literature, we bring readers together with books. Our range is complemented by a carefully curated selection of English and Spanish books.
Our native-speaking booksellers provide personal advice, are passionate readers and take the time for good conversations. Whether it is a current new release, a timeless classic or a book you did not yet know you were looking for, we always aim to find the right recommendation.
As an independent bookshop, we are deeply rooted in the local neighbourhood while also having an international outlook. Through readings, book clubs and literary events, we create spaces for meeting and exchange in German, French and Italian alike. In addition, we supply libraries, curate book displays and constantly develop new ideas for how books find their way to people.
